ACH Debit Block

In our efforts to keep our accounts secure from Fraud, we have added to our Chase Bank accounts an ACH Debit Block. This service will block any ACH debits from Payee's that have not been authorized.

When implementing this, we added vendors that have been used before and that are authorized to debit on a monthly basis, like Mortgage Banks, Insurance and utilities.

However, we only added vendors that we have used in the past 6 months.

It is important to note that no online ACH payments can be submitted for payment without first adding the vendor in Chase or it will be blocked, this means any payment that may be done by entering routing and account numbers in any website to make any payment, or any pay by phone.

So please keep in mind that the accounting department will need to review whether the vendor is authorized before any ACH payments are submitted moving forward. Tuli, Rachel and Laura at this time are the only ones with the ability to add or remove vendors in the ACH Debit Block.
