Compliance

Compliance is something that it is very important to learn when we work in Property Management. It can be a little bit complicated, so we have prepared a short Compliance Handbook with basic information. It is true that after reading it you may still have some questions about it, so please feel free to reach out to Laura or Jeffrey with any questions you may have.

In a nutshell, we call compliance the list of requirements that NYC has on Property Owners/Managers. You can find a list of these laws and regulations in our Compliance Handbook and on SiteCompli's 2021 Compliance Checklist.

Many of these Laws are now being tracked in Rent Manager with the help of Plaza, and we will begin receiving some email reminders on Feb 15th, 2021. The Compliance items that we are tracking through Rent Manager can be found on the Compliance Tab of each property.
