Bushburg has been growing and it will continue to grow and improve. New things are coming to Bushburg in the next weeks and one of the things I would like to introduce is Slack. Slack is one of the apps that we are considering to start using for internal communications instead of email.

Currently one of the biggest problems at Bushburg is internal communication problems, as it is hard to keep track of things when we are trying to communicate via email, chats, and text messages.

Another challenge comes when adding a team member into a message thread that has been going on for a while, making it hard for the incoming team member to catch up on what is going on.

Slack aims to improve all that by keeping all internal office communications in one place. Slack also offers several integrations, like Wrike, Box, Google Drive etc.

The Box and Google Drive integrations serve as a way to share files while keeping the files in the Box or Google Drive server, that way it saves us from having to continually email back and forth changes to files.

With Wrike integration, it allows us to create a Wrike Task directly from Slack and it keeps a link to that task in Wrike, for quick access to the project. You can click this link to see a sample.

More information will be given at a later time, but if you would like to get a little more information you can check our the following videos on the basics of Slack.

I hope this is useful, please let us know your thoughts.
