Welcome to another week, it is officially Spring as of March 20, so we are looking forward to better weather, more sunlight and the beginning of blooming flowers. Next week we will be celebrating Passover, so make sure that we keep the office clean and no snacks are ordered that are not Kosher for Passover.


The office will be closed from March 27th to April 4th, yet some of us will be working remotely. Please don't forget to send me the Time Sheet Adjustment Form and let me know which Chol HaMoed days will you be taking off.


Regarding the cleaning of the fridge, anything that was left in the fridge last Friday, was thrown away, except some what it looks like muffins that were in the freezer and some tomato sauce in a bag. Please make sure those items are removed this week or they will be disposed of on Friday. Moving forward we will like to make sure that no food is left on the fridge from one week to the next unless is an item that is to be shared by all employees and it is not expired. Like milk, and other refreshments, or fruits.


I would also like to point out since some people told me that we ran out of forks, that the utensils are all in the right most drawer in the kitchen, there is a good quantity of forks, knives and spoons.


Regarding the key fobs to the office, we will be receiving some physical fobs this week, and please let me know if you have any problems with your phone application. Please note that the application must be open in your phone and the Bluetooth must be on as well for it to work. Also, if the application were to stop working, please come to me for help and never delete the app without coming to me first, as I explained in the email last week.


This week we would like to share the Rent Manager Release Notes 12.700 which includes some cool upcoming New Features to Rent Manager. The most interesting new features from this update are:

  • Reservable Amenities, which allows you to create amenities for your properties that can be reserved for use by tenants.

  • Amenity Reservations Register which allows you to track reservation requests.

  • Community Calendars were added where you can view community events and amenity reservations for each property.

Rent Manager also made some Enhancements to the program like:

  • Moved the Logo Image field into the Area where the Property Name is.

  • Scripting was updated with a RecurringChargeList function that can be used for the Tenant and Lease classes.

  • It is now possible to import payments to invoices through .csv files as long as the invoice number is added.

  • Now ePay integrations will allow for Debit Card Processing, with a fixed convenience fee for transactions.
