The Current is a 650,000 square foot office building with impressive contiguous floor plates of approximately 100,000 square feet. The massive structure is equipped with a common cafeteria space, its own helipad, and an enormous skylight atop its full six story atrium. From the time Bushburg Properties acquired the property, The Current's occupancy rate has increased from fifty percent in 2014 to its current occupancy of approximately ninety percent. The building has also maintained the tenancy of some high-profile tenants including Florida Power and Light, Florida International University, and Anthem’s Simply Health Care.
