Welcome to a new week!
There is not much to add this week. However, there are so many things on the works behind the scenes that until they are fully developed we won't be able to share more details about them. But we can list them here in order to give you a glimpse of what it is to come. Some of these have been mentioned since last year, and I am sorry we are still not fully done with them, but I feel that because we have some things that are still up in the air, trying to implement them without all the pieces will be counterproductive.
Things that are on the works:
The new office - Unit 215 - This is already been made official, and we just need to finalize the construction etc. A specific move date has not been established yet, but it will be soon. (Estimated date: sometime in February)
Compliance Training - We are working with Plaza to finalize some items here on how to track all these, as soon as the implementation is done, we will set up a date for the Training. (Estimated date: sometime in February)
HR Platform - With this we will be including things like Employee Handbooks, Calendar and Evaluations and Training. We are looking into different companies and once a decision is made we will share it with you all. (Estimated date: sometime in February)
On other news, this week we will be welcoming Jordan Franklin who will be meeting with some of us on Tuesday to speak about the future of the company and how can we make it even better.
Birthdays this week: We would like to congratulate in advance: Sam Schwartz 🎂 who will be celebrating his birthday this coming Saturday. Mazel Tov!
For this week's article, I wanted to share with you all an article from HUGO about How to improve written communication skills at work. I have made some adjustments to the article to make it more relevant to Bushburg. I believe this is important because one of the things I notice on a day to day basis is how much we need to improve our work communications. When we take the time to communicate clearly and concisely, we are able to be more efficient and everything will run more smoothly. Please take a few minutes to read and take into consideration these tips. Please feel free to bookmark the article so you can come back to it when you need it.
On a last note, not everybody has filled out their Job Description survey and the deadline has passed. I request that you all take this seriously and take a minute of your time to fill this out. Thank you to all who have already filled it out. An email was sent to everyone who hasn't filled it out. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. You can also click link to answer.
Looking forward to a great week.
